Airport transfers that hold up when the schedule doesn't.

Flying in, your driver follows the arrival time your flight actually lands at, not the one printed on your ticket. Flying out, your pickup is booked ahead and runs at any hour, including the ones you'd rather not think about.

Your flight moves. Your pickup moves with it.

When you book a pickup at YYC, you can add the flight you're arriving on. From that point PrimeKar is watching it. Land forty minutes behind schedule and that's already accounted for. Land early, and the same. Nobody needs a phone call from the baggage carousel explaining what happened.

This is the part most people don't think about until it goes wrong. That's the reason a scheduled pickup beats hoping something is available when you walk out.

This applies to flights arriving into Calgary. For a ride to the airport, you choose the pickup time yourself when you book.

From the gate to the car.

There is no rush built into this. Customs takes what it takes, and bags arrive when they arrive.

01

You get 45 minutes, free

The complimentary window starts when your flight actually lands. Whether you reach the car at minute five or minute forty-four, there's no waiting charge.

02

Collect your bags

No need to message ahead while you do it. PrimeKar already has your landing time.

03

Call or message your driver

Both work, both directions, inside the app. This is how you and the driver agree exactly where to meet.

04

Meet at the arrivals door you agreed on

Pickup is curbside at arrivals. Your driver confirms which door with you once you're through. It depends on the terminal and how the airport is running that day.

05

Your driver takes the bags

They'll help load and get you settled before you go anywhere.

06

Your ride begins

Once you're settled in, the driver starts the trip.

Running behind? Stay in touch through the app and your driver can keep waiting. Additional time is charged by the minute once the complimentary window is up.

The 4 a.m. problem.

Early flights are where transportation usually gets unreliable. PrimeKar runs at every hour, so a 4 a.m. pickup is a normal booking, not a favour.

It's scheduled, though, not summoned. You choose the pickup time when you book, and the app requires about two hours' lead time. Sort it out the night before and there's nothing left to arrange while you're standing outside in the dark with a suitcase.

PrimeKar is pre-scheduled transportation rather than a rideshare. Rides are arranged ahead, not requested on the spot.

Two classes. Pick by luggage, not just seats.

Most people choose by passenger count and get caught out by bags. Airport trips carry more than a normal ride does, so it's worth checking both.

PrimeKar Executive

Up to 4 passengers. Comfortable for up to 3 large checked suitcases.

PrimeKar Elite XL

Up to 6 passengers. Comfortable for up to 4 large checked suitcases.

These are recommendations rather than hard limits. Actual room depends on your bags and the vehicle assigned. Travelling with skis, golf clubs, or more luggage than that? Tell us before you book and we'll sort out the right vehicle.

Two ways to arrange it.

In the app

The direct route. Enter your trip, add your flight number if you're arriving, see the pricing, and confirm. Available on the App Store and Google Play.

Ask us to arrange it

If you'd rather not use an app, or you want to talk it through first, contact us by form, phone or email. We'll go over the details, tell you the fare, and once you're happy with it we'll send a payment link by text. The ride is confirmed once that's paid.

A message or a call on its own doesn't hold a booking. It is confirmed once the fare is agreed and paid. You don't need to download anything afterward; the ride runs either way.

Questions people actually ask.

What happens if my flight is delayed?
If you've added the flight you're arriving on, PrimeKar tracks it and your pickup adjusts to when you actually land. There's no charge for the delay itself, and your complimentary waiting window starts at your real landing time rather than the scheduled one.
What if I land early?
Handled the same way. PrimeKar sees the updated arrival and your pickup moves with it. Arriving ahead of schedule is no different from arriving behind it.
How long will my driver wait?
45 minutes from landing, free. If you need longer and you're in touch through the app, your driver can keep waiting, with additional time charged by the minute. If we can't reach you at all for 90 minutes after landing, the ride is recorded as a no-show and the full fare applies.
Where do I meet my driver?
Curbside at an arrivals door. Once you're through with your bags, you and your driver agree the exact door between you by call or message in the app. It varies with the terminal and how the airport is running that day. PrimeKar uses coordinated curbside pickup rather than an indoor name-sign meeting.
Do you track my flight when I'm flying out?
No. Flight tracking is for arrivals into Calgary. For a ride to the airport you set the pickup time yourself when you book, based on when you want to be there.
Can you pick me up for a very early flight?
Yes. Rides run at any hour, every day. Book it ahead like any other trip. The app requires about two hours' lead time, and earlier is better for peace of mind.
Can I book without the app?
Yes. Contact us by form, phone or email and we'll arrange it for you. You'll hear the fare first, approve it, then pay by a link we send by text. You never need to install the app for the ride to go ahead.

Book the ride. Then stop thinking about it.

That's the whole point of arranging airport transportation in advance.
